as we discussed in class and as we know from our daily life, media is the most powerful instrument of communication. we see lots of programs in the tv. these are various programs and most of them includes incompatible combination of show bussiness, advertising and news. magazine programs are generally people’s favorite programs. this idea is acceptable by the article which name is tabloidization of the news media. these article’s researches’ also show that tv channels’ celebrities and popular culteres news are more than economy and politics news. owner of tv channels think their benefits and profits so which programs are likely to follow they show these types of news. people need news about their culture. however, they have to watch whatever, tv channels show. in turkey politics dominate in TRT. however when we look at the percantage of the people’s interest in trt’s polotics news, we unerstand that people do not interested in this news. Of course, certain groups follow these programs but big part of people instead of politics, watch the entertainment programs. owner of the tv channels, sometimes have a newspaper. when we look at the content of these two communication tools, they react similar. most importantly, owner of newspaper and channels are supporter of themselves. when we look at the star ( turkish daily newspaper) we easily see cem uzan’s good news. also in the past in star tv, i saw cem uzan’s supporter. owners think their benefits and they use some ways to make their propaganda. they also show news about other media bosses and they generally try to disprove their ideas. so we can see that in turkey, tv channels and other communication resources support one part. because of this it is hard to trust them.

as we easily understand, the main aim of the this article is discussing and showing the effects of television on family life, children and home life. since the advent of television, home and family life has becomed changing because children generally watch the tw and they try to be similar whatever they see on television. it means that they becomed television oriented. some researches also show that , many of the family do not spend time with their children after the work, so while mothers and father prepare the dinner, children watch the tv so many of the children become isolated from their friends. this is general concept that if children spent times with their families, they will bemore active with their friends. however, in today’s world children are usually spend time with televison because it has multiple choices that children have very low chance to be bored. most of the family does not realize the danger of the watching television very much, because, they generally engage in other things while their children watch the tv. of course, every family do things together such as they go to summer holidays, weekend events but their ordinary lifes generally based on television. this article also mentiones about the importance of the eye-to-eye contact. in real life relationships people’s eyes or looks to another play a significant role in relationships. however , children who watch the tv very much, there is no possibility for eye contact. so this reduce the chance of good relationships with family. furthermore, teachers state that: children who came from the television screen, generally are passive and they will lose the ability of learning the reality because life experiences are more different and difficult than the whatever they see on the tv. as those examples show, television play a very important role in our ordinary life. so that we have to balance its effect on our life.

in recent days issiz adam is very popular. in this film family tees strong but main character alp lives away from his family. he has a restaurant in istanbul but his family live in tarsus. his mother cares his son very much. hovewer, he tries to live away from crowded pleace. because of his this choice he left his girl friend ada. his mother felt sorry more than alp and spoke him but he did not change his mind.this shows that her mother cares alp and she did not dominate. in the film, alp’s family indicate that they pay attention on marriage but he did not. his father did not appear in the family, but his mother lived with alp’s brothers and children. she called him everyday and gace the news about alp’s brother cousins. alp did not care his mother so much but loves his mother we easily understood during the film. i did not realize conflicts betwwen alp and his family. he has some phobia which stems from peoples. he does not like crowded place and does not want to share his life with anyone. baceuse of this he left ada. his mother did not this circumstance. he did not try to overcome this problems. if he tried to overcome his phobia, he would solve. hovewer, he did not try. his attitue for ada, affected his mother, she spoke ada but alp did not change. over years, they met by chance and spoke. now ada is married and told him that she had a daughter. after conversation they went 2 different side. then they came back and hugged each other. they have still loved each other however becuse of alp, they did not have chance to come together again. this is the divorce of film. issiz adam is the one of the best film i have ever seen.
